We’ve had
a successful fall season promoting sales of Town Ball.
It’s been great to meet and talk to so many town team baseball fans all
over the state. The book continues to be available at most bookstores,
and you can purchase autographed copies of the book directly from us by
clicking on the link below.
We’ve
added quite a bit of new material with this web update. Stories on Class
AA batting champions, Glory Days media and Willmar pitcher Gene Olson
have been added to the “Anecdotes/Stories” section. We’ve also added
some book reviews to the “Book Details” section, as well as a photo from
the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Then, we’ve added a whole new
section, titled “All-Star Teams.” In this update we’ve selected a
“Minnesota Natives Team.” You might not agree with all of our choices,
but we think you’ll enjoy reading the short thumbnail bios of the 23 men
selected to this team. We’d love your feedback – negative or positive –
and will entertain your suggestions for substitutions, deletions and
additions. Submit an alternate team if you are so inclined! In
subsequent web updates we plan to select some other All-Star squads,
based on other selection criteria, and we’ll add a section on reader
feedback, as well.[We've
